Farm description
Glencora is a small, 70 acre, family farm
in the southern Piedmont region of North
Carolina.
We raise organic food for ourselves; meat,
dairy, fruit and vegetable. "A full measure
pressed down, shaken together, and running
over, will be poured into your lap..."
Out of this abundance we sell to friends,
neighbors, and our customers.
We purchased our property in 1978 and have
worked at improving it ever since. The farm
was certified "organic" in 1987 by the Carolina
Farm Stewardship Association. We plan to
apply for USDA certification when feasable.
Glencora is thirty-three years pesticide, herbicide, and chemical fertilizer free.
